Questions
Is LoadChat a freight broker?
No. LoadChat is a load board and messaging tool. We don't negotiate rates, issue rate confirmations, move freight, or take a cut of any load. When you book in chat, the agreement is between the shipper/poster and the carrier. The poster issues its own rate confirmation.
How does vetting work?
Every account is checked before it can post or see contact details. For carriers that means MC/USDOT or CVOR/NSC authority, insurance (liability + cargo), safety record and identity. Only numbers we verified show on your profile, with the date they were checked.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Approved members get a free trial, switched on by our team. No card is needed.
How does billing work?
Monthly plans are billed per month, plus HST. The 10-post pack is a one-time payment. Card payment isn't switched on yet: plans are activated by hand and nothing is charged automatically.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime. There's no contract and no cancellation fee. The 10-post pack has no subscription to cancel, and unused credits don't expire.
Can my team share one account?
Yes, on Carrier Fleet: up to 5 team logins (the owner plus 4 members). Each person has their own email, password and WhatsApp number. Everyone shares the company's loads, trucks, chats and bookings, and each post, message and booking shows who did it. Only the owner manages billing and members. Other plans include 1 login.
What counts as a load post?
Each new load you post (web or WhatsApp) counts once. Edits, truck posts and duplicates we catch don't count. Carrier caps reset on the 1st of each month.
Can carriers post loads?
Yes. Carrier Starter includes 10 extra loads / month and Fleet includes 50 extra loads / month, so you can hand extra freight to other vetted carriers. Your loads are labelled "Posted by carrier" and never matched to your own trucks.
